The eight recommendations by the grand jury:
  1. Expand no-drill zones around homes from 500 feet to 2,500 feet;
  2. Require companies to publicly disclose all chemicals used in drilling and fracking;
  3. Require the regulation of gathered lines, which are smaller pipelines;
  4. Measure air pollution as a whole rather than each pollutant individually;
  5. Require safer transportation of waste water from well sites, including truck labels;
  6. Conduct a comprehensive study of the health effects;
  7. Limit the ability of DEP employees to take jobs with the private sector industry;
  8. Allow the Attorney General’s Office to prosecute criminal complaints against gas companies without being referring by the DEP or local district attorneys.

All of the recommendations seem like things they should already be doing anyway. I’m sure they will be scoffed at as “restrictive regulations that kill jobs”
