They always let me in as long as I wasn't wearing my Chuck Taylor All Stars. That was back before they were considered fashionable for girls.

I saw Modern English (Melt with you) at Heaven circa 1983. Wasn't there a club called Studebakers Downtown in the 1980s?

Yes to Studebaker's. I recall being in Heaven for a happy hour sponsored by our apartment complex. But right after that the mood changed to a lot of crazy people. Always remember the hot women "posing" on the stair case. The place really wasn't my cup of tea. I hit the local bars like Atria's, back when it wasn't a fern bar.

He also owned Rosebud Market on 7th Avenue under The Encore. It opened to a lot of fanfare in 2008. It closed within two years. It was opened on speculation hopii that area would take off. Also, he had no experience in the brutal. Grocery business. I give him credit for being the entrepreneur that he is.

Well you wouldn’t be witnessing it firsthand in the city either, because smack addicts stay at home whenever they aren’t trying to score... and you aren’t likely to frequent the places they would go anyway.

Of course if your idea of fun is to watch a tv show about junkies, then have at it.

I’m interested in anything that has to do with the city. I spend a decent amount of time there...and the episode was quite interesting.

Avanti lounge? I used to go there (live bands, etc.) - Unless you mean the small airport? There did used to be a place that had airplane parts hanging from the ceiling, etc. - but that wasn't in Moon.
