Not really feeling the lineup aside from a few bands. I went to Mayhem the first year and it was alot of fun on the small stages. However, once everyone hit the main stage it became a disaster. Fist fights every where, got beer spilled on me, almost got into a fight with a douche next to me, people starting fires.

Too many drunk, angst filled white males in wife beaters and jean shorts looking to cause a ruckus. That's not metal, that's just douchebaggery. Combine that with wall to wall advertising everywhere you went and you can count me out.

First two I could stand seeing. The rest can set themselves on fire.

I'm going to Mayhem but if it's anything like that tomorrow I won't go again. I hate the idiots at metal concerts that think the idea is to cause trouble and a lot of them don't even really know anything about the music. I went to Rock on the Range in Columbus both days and there were tons of cool people which is how it should be.
