Looking for some really good, maybe not so well-known restaurants in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas (mainly south and east). Tired of the chains down at the waterfront....new to area...someone suggested Mallorca on the Southside, and we LOVED it!

If you are going for nice, I would try 6 Penn downtown.

Good cheap breakfast/lunch Crepes Parisiennes in Shadyside

If you want great burgers/beer, go for The Sharp Edge in friendship.

The Harris Grill on Ellsworth Ave. has free bacon at the bar every tuesday. Bacon + Beer = Amazing.
