Yes, that seems just plain sucky to have a zoo without a convenient neighborhood entrance. I did just go to the Pittsburgh Parks Convervancy site and checked out all the pictures for a few parks. Sounds like a really nice organization.

C'mon, how many people that live close by actually go to the park? Do a survey. How many that live close to the museum go regularly? The Zoo is well attended.

Hey, this is a slippery slope. Trust me, I have seen some real commuter hellholes in my day, where you can't go get a jug of milk or a tootsie roll without a car. Not to get in a flamewar here, but I am arguing that getting a few "calorically-enhanced" citizens out on the streets is a very good thing. There is a reason the Europeans are much less obese than us, and doing some walknig each day is one of them.

Now, I am certainly no expert, but I would suspect that there are 20,000 people within a mile or so of that park, and making it easier might be a good thing..would it not?

Which only matters if he expects a sale price of $250K above his cost basis, or $500K if he files jointly.

I don't live in Fox Chapel. I live in Hampton, which I highly recommend, but it's a farther commute for the OP inito Oakland.

Plus, Shaler and North Hills have relatively easy access to public transportation that goes directly from the North Hills to Oakland.

Keep up with my 4,326 posts, Rob!
My apologies. For some reason I thought you lived in Fox Chapel. I guess I never saw you say exactly there you lived. I agree it is tough to keep up with all of your posts. Keep up the good work. And you could alter your profile to add a Location.

Because the whole city is Democrat, and that kind of leadership for over 70 years has not done so well.
