No they won't. Offshore drilling pays good money. Unions never got a foothold here because the pay and benefits were always very good. Rigs shut down long enough and some of those rigs will simply pull up and float onto another drilling site somewhere else in the world with a different operating crew. It won't be just drilling jobs lost. It'll also be boat crews, cooking crews (they eat well offshore), repair and tool shops, and all the various companies that support the industry workers.

What would we need a plan for? Are you this far up Obamas butt that you are unable to respond to a thread in an intelligent, informative manner, that the only reply you can do is sidestep and blame the GOP?

It's right out of your play book...

You seem very angry that Obama is actually taking care of America during a time of crisis. Why do you defend BP so much?

A plan? Well most rational people would respond by putting forth ideas to help their country in a time of need. Instead your party offers more of the same: Childish whining and feet stomping whilst redefining the word "Forced."

Reading comprehension is your friend, nobody is blaming the GOP (that's your party's move-the blame game) but asking rather why they won't participate in creating a solution rather than...make up more shyt to lie about.

If they agree to put up $20B, then I would assume that the $100M they agreed upon would also be put aside..
FT.com / US & Canada - BP agrees to back $20bn spill fund
