Yep, they'd place ACORN at the border to register them all as Maryland or VA voters.

I like her. She has guts and won't back down. I hope she keeps the pressure on. And on. And on until someone gets off their flipping butt and does something.

How does Obama think that is enough
I personally never thought one of America's states would become a police state.

It's as if the Stasi or the Cheka are within Arizona's borders. And people call HIM a Communist. Brewer is the one acting like the Soviets.

It still amazes me just how out of touch some of the people who live in this country are.

You live in Albany NY? Why don't you move down to the AZ border to get a reality check.

Go Brewer! You got my vote!

I've thought about that, too. I've thought, "You know what? I don't come in that much contact with illegal immigration, so who am I to opine?"

But the death penalty is also something I'm removed from here in New York. It doesn't take living near it for me to carry on my conviction that it is wrong and unconstitutional.

I'm like unbending when it comes to constitutionality and that sort of thing.

I agree with Brewer's stance on illegal immigration, but I am far from convinced that she would make a strong presidential candidate. Most of us who don't live in Arizona don't know nearly enough about her other policies to make a decision.

As for the signs, simply blaming Obama for some warning signs (that are meant to save lives) is unfair. I agree illegal immigration needs to be dealt with, but for the majority of America the economy is the number one issue, and this is what Obama is focused on.

Why by following federal law?

We are becoming a police state long before that law.

Just another example of obama's half#ssed leadership.
Being a Chicago thug and all, he should have had his "people" rush down there and remove the signs.
To late Bimbo, she got you.

So, the federal law on the books since 1986, is wrong and unconstitutional, according to you?

The masks come off!
