what they also don't get (and a couple of these posts are creeping me out also) is that children have a right to ENJOY THEIR CHILDHOOD! what part of that is so hard to understand????
If a high schooler is having sex with a teacher, I am going to assume until proven otherwise that they are "enjoying" it. Duh.

What some people also don't seem to get is that some of us don't consider our high school aged children (or younger) to be fair game for public (or private) school teachers.
When my kids are in high school and of legal age (16 where I live) I hope they have good, fulfilling, and SAFE sex lives, and if that includes a teacher, so be it. Of course I would make sure extra precautions were taken to protect the teacher's reputation and career, etc.
