You have a firm grasp of the obvious. This is laughable.

Again, laughable.
Not a substantive comment in the post. I guess that part of the discussion is apparently over.

Next?

Faith is believing something in THE ABSENCE OF EVIDENCE.

I don't have faith that I will take another breath.

I have a reasonable expectation that I will be cause of the FACT that I have done son for 56 years prior and have no indication that this will change right now.

That is NOT faith.

None of the thing things you recited are "faith" - none - except your "faith" in an evidenceless god.
Well, you live in your faithless world then and I will be perfectly happy in my world of faith.

I think that's what it really comes down to.

I hope you don't think that the faithless don't live happy lives, though... I'm very content and very happy in my 'faithless' life.

BUT, you shouldn't be teaching 'faith' in a science class.

If you have nothing but claims of having no faith in anything, then of coarse...next.

I have no problem with that, not at all. Just don't try to foist the mythology on us.

I would have to say, that despite not believing in a creator (because of the absolute lack of evidence), I do consider myself "Christian" inasmuch as follow his teachings and the fundamental values of Christianity. It is a perplexing position to be in, but once you make the realization that there is no "Santa Claus", you can't go back to convince yourself that there really is.

Profession of faith is all I have ever done, in no way have I ever said you or anyone else must believe as I do nor have I belittled anyone who has a different view from me.

I think that is called head knowledge vs. heart knowledge or "faith".

I can't imagine what it is like. I truly wish you the best.
