Please let gasoline prices go up. *prays*

That would be the best gift the US could hope for because it would make alternative fuels more competitive.

Yea, we may even have to start off shore drilling again, how else will Obama and Pelosi get around to shove crap in our faces? They don't have solar powered jets yet, do they?

Sure, why not? With our current rate of consumption all the oil that we'll drill from here is gonna last us about 3 years, and then what?

Yep, lets continue our dependence on oil and shovel money to these dictators in foreign countries.

...or we can research and develop alternative fuels and sources of energy, while maximizing our use of what we have now efficiently.

It's our choice of the future, yet blocked constantly.

Your choice is in your pocketbook. The future will hold us accountable for how we decide.

Oh yeah, how it goes again? "Spill, baby spill?"

Maybe the skyrocketing prices on shrimp and other seafood products aren't gonna bother you, but don't get puzzled as to why is gas cost $20/gallon if US decides to drill every drop of oil on its own territory off- and onshore.

Smartphone fail? Or you just forgot the unwritten rule of not using the Internet while drunk?

Anyways, we are much closer to the alternative fuels development today than we were in the 70's. Back then I understand why even a 15% cut would be a catastrophe.

LOL Classic male posturing from Chavez. Did he recover from the last time he shot himself in the head? Go ahead Pal, but don't wonder why your constituents put you on a cross for eviscerating your own economy in a goofy attempt to hurt ours.

This is what kills the UN. This posturing for dominance/ advantage at expense of all others is killing the planet. I'd swear I'm listening to 9yr olds on a playground and it's what's passed for leadership in all recorded history.
