The Bible is the best selling book of all time by the way.By far. So the 1st woman was created from Adam's rib, so what? And the thing about blacks being cursed is complete bull. That was a false belief that many southern preachers held, back in the days of open racism. Blacks were created equal, along with all other races, at the Tower of Babel. God also created the world's languages at that point too. God doesn't hate homosexuals. In fact, he loves them just as much as straight people. He just hates their sin, and everyone else's sin for that matter. But God certainly does not hate gay people, and neither do I.

Carbon dating is generally a good start. We can prove the rate at which something ages - it's an observable, measurable fact. We can prove the rate at which something degrades - it's an observable, measurable fact. It isn't rocket science, but it is science.
I actually find it very interesting that you will blindly agree with a book full of things that can't be proved... but ignore actual evidence that can be measured and observed.
How do you know the bible has been around more than a couple hundred years? Do you have proof it wasn't written up by some men huddling in a little cabin somewhere say, 200 years before you were born? Have you SPOKEN to someone who was there when it was written? Have you handled the original document from which that copy on your coffee table was translated? Did you read it in the original language and verify your copy is translated correctly?
There's no way to verify that the bible is actually the word of God... but you'll ignore actual documented, measurable, verifiable information proving the world is a hell of a lot older than 6,000 years?

Definitions of words change all the time - always have. No language in the history of the world is static. How would your life change when marriage is defined as the joining of two adults without the mention of man and woman? The 'homosexual community' and this heterosexual woman simply thinks marriage should not be exclusively heterosexual.
O.K. you forced my hand...so you want me to show you how it changes the definition of MARRIAGE..The BIBLE says that the MARRIAGE BED IS (NOT DEFILED) now if HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE comes about THE MARRIAGE BED WILL BE DEFILED.....sorry like I said before I Had HOMOSEXUAL and BI-SEXUALS FRIENDS and it's not that I'M AGAINST HOMOSEXUALS...even if I think that the activities that they engage in is wrong..IT'S A ACTIVITIES THAT THEY ARE ENGAGING IN..AND EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO THEIR"S FREE WILL.
