The eventual disintegration of the Federal Reserve is as inevitable as the other two times it's been tried and destroyed in this country. As for the near term:

Rand Paul's victory in Kentucky puts the Federal Reserve on notice

Your source says, "The Pauls want to take the United States back to Andrew Jackson's closing of the Federal Reserve's predecessor which, when combined with a return to a strict gold standard, caused such a constriction in the U.S. money supply that a depression ensued which lasted from 1837 to 1844. The Pauls would throw the baby out with the bathwater." It then lists the three key jobs of a central bank.

*Too noble to put up a snickering icon*

Do you have a link to something that says what he'd replace the Fed with?

Hahaha, in other words, you dont have a clue why we must have a central bank and Rand Paul doesnt either since according to you he's talking about getting rid of the Fed, and you're blithely fine with that "idea". (For now anyway )

When you can't win on issues, make an issue out of it.

Speaking of clueless that describes your post to a T to say something as absurd as Rand doesn't know. Agree or disagree with Rand he knows his stuff.
