They are also very provincial in their out look and really have little interest or knowledge outside of their own little corner of the woods. In other words they are very insular and totally non progressive. Now these traits might be just fine for them and all the more power to them but they are not admirable traits in someone who wants to represent people in the wider culture. Sara is just oh so much worse than any hillbilly because a hillbilly does not really care how others live their lives or what they believe in but Sara she wants to make over America in HER hillbilly ideas. These are ideas that America surpassed over a hundred years ago. She's the worst kind of reactionary there is.

To me it's just as if the Amish decided to become politically active and tell the rest of the country that their way is the only way to live. I admire the Amish lifestyle but it's not for me thank you very much.
Way to go scooby, you have officially offended the educated hillbillies.. Considering I grew up and still live in a hillbilly town, AND have a degree working to finish my masters(criminology), your stereotype speaks volumes about who and what you really are. At this point all I see is a so-called educated, city raised holier than thou attitude.

How you describe yourself hardly meets the general definition of a hillbilly does it???
I took great pains to explain that these simple folks who I refer to as hillbillies, I have nothing against them. Would I like to see one as the POTUS or speaking to the world for my country. No I would not. Especially someone like Sara who discounts any other points of view as wrong.

No I'm not that crazy about him either. As far as I'm concerned the last really great Leader the USA had was FDR and that's getting to be a long time ago. LOL

Aren't the "Mama Grizzlies" embracing right wing/conservative philosophies?
The Alpha Mama Grizzly might just be repairing to her den to memorize a few more sound bites. She's now said to be the Kiss Of Death when stumping for candidates-- something like five losers in the past week or so.

But she is loved, and hey - she's cute as can be. The sad thing is that she sounded so very good at the Republican convention, reading the Matthew Scully speech. Then of course we learned there was very little Palin in that speech - making a silk purse out of a sow's ear- no no no that was lipstick on a pig- very few words were hers.
The Man Behind Palin's Speech - TIME

Then we learned there was very little of anything in Palin's head. If brains were music she'd be a brass band. And that's sad, considering the coverage she gets in U.S. media.

Well, enough of the wayback machine.
