Often with a bad economy, this choice has to be made. So what is more important, and why?

tax cuts. take a look at how much we already spend on the broken education system. this isn't even debatable. tax cuts are the most important thing in the country. the money is there, the people who handle it just blow through it.

I agree. Our education system is IMHO actually destroying our country with their teaching political agendas. Politics have absolutely no place in our class rooms.

In addition, I would like to see all colleges and universities purged of the communists, socialists and all those who are criminals, who have terrorist bent (Bill Ayers, etc.) who, again IMHO, have absolutely no business teaching anyone anything within our educational system.

often, the only choice that has to be made is starbucks or folgers. school districts need to learn to budget. they're the problem.

Tax cuts. If people want their kids to have an education then they should pay for it out of their own pockets. I'm sick of paying for these deadbeats to go to school. Lets privatize all our schools and make parents pay the true cost

Tax cuts. The federal government should not be involved in education.

why cuts taxes reducing revenue when we are already broke? austerity and oil independence is the correct path. education is too expensive we dont need more debt we need cheap VE and trade jobs. good nuf for our grandfathers. stop exporting jobs and and importing illegals willing to do trade jobs.

i'll go with the tax cut crowd. people have been getting edjumacated for hundreds of years, frequently without the assist of taxes. seems as though before there were taxes the freemasons were establishing schools for free education. once the public theft has ended the public will figure out the best method to educate the kids. Teachers can invest in 401k's and draw SS as easily as I can.

No school, anywhere, for any reason needs a building that cost $578million bucks.

None.

Actaully the spending increases in education haven't been productive because money can not solve its problems. Spending cuts have to be made all aorund and money spent wiser in every area or the whole nation will suffer in coming decades.Educators have been terrible about running the budget of schools and we need much more businesss educated administrtors running the schools. The teachers need to be employees and those that can't make the grade gotten rid of.
