Yes I do, and yes, I am okay with this. Do I agree with them burning either...no....Do they have the right in this country. You bet they do. I immigrated from another country, don't think that you are wrong to have the freedom that you have. It should be for all. Do Not Give Up your Freedoms for what is right in your mind. I support Keith Oberman rights as I support Glenn Becks right, do I have to agree with them.....No. Do I support their rights...yes....does this explain it to you?

God forbid that Americans practice FREE SPEECH. Lunacy is rampant among Liberals defending poor muslims that had their little feelings hurt. If they are so great and advanced maybe you should take an extended visit to Iran,Afghanistan or Syria and see how loved and respected you are there????
What the hell is going on in Afghanistan? It sounds to me like Gen Petraeus is crying to his "mommy", President "Ourbomber," that the playground bullies are going to pick on his friends! We're at war over there, people! A war that is being prolonged by an inability to identify the enemy! Burn the dam books if it exposes the radical Islamics we are seeking to destroy! That's a good thing!....The kind of war strategy Gen.Petraeus is portraying President "Ourbomber" will replace the Korans with "NEW" ones, so not to offend our enemies, and put us further into debt! Someone needs to explain the rules of engagement to the American people again. We all need to be on the same track when it comes to this war! Is it war or are we being held hostage over there

Goodness gracious me. That is quite a rant, and has nothing to do with the question I asked. Let me ask you again then since you claim to support free speech; If you support the Quran burning day, would you support a Bible burning day?
While I am ok with their "right " to burn them, it simply isn't the most optimum choice. They really have no clue about the book and even less a clue about possible dangers. I think most the Muslim world will understand there are ignorant people everywhere, we happen to have some in N FL. oh well guess it is everyone's right to exercise bad judgment.
Book burning has a bad history in this country and it stands for ignorance, intolerance and a forced sameness in everyone. It also doesn't work and instead backfires. I don't know why anyone would be in favor of a public book burning. I also don't know how anyone could participate without feeling really really stupid. There are other ways to get rid of books you don't like besides making a public spectacle of yourself.
I have a better idea. Why don't we just all congregate in front of the white house and burn the US Constitution in protest of the fact that we aren't being allowed to freely express ourselves?
Yes, they have the right to burn the Qur'an. Those that do not agree with burning the Qur'an (because of the death of US soldiers such actions may cause) also have the right to try and dissuade them from doing it.
