Who believes in this stuff? I have felt that our society has been closing for decades, and this process has really accelerated over the last ten years. While I do think some form of a NWO might take shape, all this nutty talk about black helicopters and FEMA camps is quite amusing.

well, black helicopters and fema camps are bunk, but martial law is possible in the USA as it has already happened at least once before in the USA. so there is nothing to stop the feds from once calling for martial law again.
of course if the states push their states rights, and realize that the federal goverments power come from the Constitution and the feds suspended that same Constitution, the federal goverment would no longer have any power to enforce any federal law as their power was stripped the moment they call for the suspension of the Constitution.

i dont know about the fema camps, likely someone is taking heavy liberties with the truth on that.
martial law is a possibility, but the circumstances have to be extreme to impose such a drastic step, like the US was attacked with a nuclear bomb or two at least.
as for black helicopters, there is the UH60 black hawk which is in fact painted black, and does have a quiet operation mode, but i seriously doubt that you will see black uniformed commandos repelling down ropes from these choppers hovering 50ft above your house and taking you away to some secret installation where you will likely never be heard from again.
The right wing nut jobs eat this sort of nutty stuff up. That's why people like Glenn Beck always talk about these conspiracy theories.
