Britain, Germany Try to Dig Out of Euro Zone Crisis - TheFiscalTimes.com

"Perhaps Cameron’s most dramatic action was to slash the size of Britain’s bureaucracy, a change he’s dubbed “The Big Society.” According to The Washington Post, as many of 600,000 public sector jobs — or one in 10 — could be cut by 2015. These cuts are part of a larger plan to shrink the size of Britain’s government while putting more of the responsibility for everyday life — including public safety, schools and health care — in the hands of local communities."

As should we! Why do you think things are so good (they are) in Europe? Because people fought and died not to be treated like dogs by the elite! They do if you let them. We are forgetting the sacrifices of Labor Unionists of the turn of The Century. They weren't all corrupt. Go ahead, roll back 100 years of progress. Lets see how we roll with a Third World style zero safety net economy. You think 10% unemployment is bad? Try 50%. Maybe higher. They won't have to pay you more because there will not be anywhere else you can go and get paid more. And if they tell you that they aren't going to pay you this week because they don't feel like it. Tough. Quit, if you don't like it. Classic divide and conquer... don't you people read? Don't you realize you are being used?

The American white male is the most ignorant, scared, helpless, sucker in the entire Western World.

He wouldn't know how to stand up for his family's well being to save his life.

They've got him convinced the way to get ahead requires that others Americans to lose.

Please explain how social services and healthcare provided by government leads to low unemplyment?

You keep making this claim. Surely you can write a short paragraph or so explaining the reason this is so.

The U.S. in now providing more social services and health care than at any time in it's history. Yet, our unemployment is much higher than it was in the 20s, late 40s, 60s, 80s and 90s. You know, when we had less social services and govt run healthcare.

No I never made this claim. I gave an example that they are associated with lower rates of unemployment. ( you likely can't even comprehend the difference)

Look at Scandanavia! Their government spending compared to GDP exceeds 50% compared to the USA at 20%. The have the lowest unemployment rates on the list.

Stop wasting my time! You just can't read well.

Baswcvially it leads to the cost of labor being higher because overall evryhting as to be poaid for, Justr as why in europe they bascailly told Obama that the stimulus per centage he proposed would bankrupt them they wre so deep into their GDP as a per cenatge of governamnt spneding. As the recent president of france say hor polices actaully discouarge work and its finace miinster said that at 10% current then in unem-pluemnt that wouold be good times in france. Just lookig at the under 30 unemplyemnt rate and even the social latter of homeownership will show why so mnay want to leave after college. The problem for most wanting to immagrate to europe is they are not wanting more dependent poepl like most wantig to move actually.

In fact the higher the social services, the better the health care, the higher the government spending ........the lower the unemployment rates.

It's the exact opposite of your right wing B.S.

Government spending and government provided universal health care go hand in hand with lower rates of unemployment.
Where did you use the word associated?

You can't answer my question.

You found a few countries that have more social services than the United States. They also have lower unemployment rates. So you conclude more social services = lower unemployment.

You offer no reason for this conclusion.

I lived in Cuba for a long time. They had more social services than any country in Europe. They also have more social services than the U.S. According to your logic they should have low unemployment. From what I saw unemployment in Cuba is about 40-50 percent.

You can't answer my question so you insult me and say I can't read? LOLs. You sound like a junior high kid.

How does more social services lead to lower unemployment? You can't answer but you make the claim. Yawn.

The fact of the matter is Europe ( smeared by right wingers here as "socialist" and "communist") is doing better than the USA.

And they have universal health care!

And their government spending is much higher as a percentage of GDP!
FAct of the day: In many places they are rioting, what do you say about that?
