How bout stuff happens, regardless of whether you are a good or bad person.

From what I've read the rise in staph infections have more to do with incarceration than gay sex, although there's always been a great deal of gay sex going on in prisons, most notably rape but even some consensual gay sex.

Seems like the overcriminalization of American life and the prison-industrial complex are to blame, and with the worsening economy and continuing war on drugs that means more people will be exposed to the prison-industrial complex.

An incarceration-induced staph infection wow that's a new one on me. Or an "overcriminalization"-incuded staph infection. Let's see we can term it IISI. You know like MRSA. It will be incarceration induced staph infection. lol

"At the Pinellas County Jail, which was originally designed for 2,400 inmates but has seen its population reach 3,800, officials say overcrowding exacerbates problems caused by tension and germs.

"Last year, when a Times reporter spent two days living in a maximum-security cell block to report on overcrowding at the Pinellas jail, an inmate warned him not to touch his mattress or pillow because staph was everywhere. Inmates didn't shake hands and wore flip-flops on their hands when doing pushups to avoid touching the floor. "

Sure there are.

AIDS started in the gay male community.

Only because there were a substantial number of gay men who were not only extremely promiscuous (although that term's an understatement) but also injecting drugs in late 1970s NYC and California, and the bathhouse culture coincided with a heroin epidemic.

If AIDS had first been recognized in the early 1970s with infection going on in the late 1960s it would have been a heterosexual disease. (Particularly if the vector of infection had been in Vietnam rather than Africa....) Subsequent autopsies revealed that there were isolated AIDS cases outside Africa as far back as 1959 and that some patients who died suddenly from cancer actually had AIDS. There are rumors that Howard Hughes died from AIDS but since the virus was not identified during his lifetime this is not known.

There's nothing inherently gay about AIDS.

You see, I'm a common sense kind of guy. Whatever the history, it came out as a gay disease, because 99% of the cases were found in gay men.

Therefore, it's a gay disease.

Thanks feller's!
