Scarborough is a republican with common sense. If you watch his show his right lean is evident, but when the right do something boneheaded or wrong, he will admit it. Unlike fox and other republicans that will just do the world famous republican "dodge, twist, and blame" tactics.
That wouldn't make him Liberal, that would make him very rare.
Of course someone who thinks Kansas is a bastion of liberalism wouldn't think Scarborough is a Conservative but most people would look at his voting record and party affiliation and say otherwise.
Has he voted recently? I didn't know that you could vote in Congress without being a member.
Who is it that thinks of Kansas as a bastion of liberalism? Certainly not me. When I was a Democrat and my people couldn't get elected in Kansas I may have talked like that but since 1972 I haven't been a Democrat so I guess anyone under the age of 38 wouldn't have ever heard me say anything like what you just said and we both know you are well under that age.
I am glad that MSNBC is not on my program from my satellite. If it were I would have to ignore it so I wouldn't be watching Scarborough as I don't when I can't see it.
I guess that makes one Republican who doesn't like that amendment enough to want it thrown out. Is that the case?
But you just won't believe that in those respectable colleges these days most of the profs are just a little bit more than a tad left handed. When will you see that point
The only reason colleges seem more liberal is Reagan and the rise of the rightwing stigma of intelligence. My mother literally took 30 years off from college until she went back this fall and has told me it isn't much different.
But sorry to get off on a tangent. Glenn Beck is still not an authoritarian on Progressives or the Constitution, and Joe Scarborough is still not a liberal.

OMG you don't even watch so you don't know what he has to say. Just watch him once.
(See how it feels to be treated the way you treat others?)

I have admitted many times that MSNBC is not on the program I get from my satellite and this time I admitted that I wouldn't watch them if they were on it. What more do I need to do to make you happy? Naw, I am not going to do that.

You missed the point. That was exactly how you treat everyone that doesn't watch Glenn Beck. At your age, I'd imagine you've learned the Golden Rule by now.

The timing of his votes is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is he voted "conservative" when he was a member of Congress and from the pieces I've listened to of him, he likely leans right more times than left.
And I was not addressing you when I mentioned you thought Kansas was a bastion of liberalism. Another gal who's lived her entire life in a state bordering Kansas is on record as saying it's a bastion of liberalism.

Now I know who you were talking about and she is my favorite poster here on CD and a great conservative. You can say names but I know she does live in MO and I saw that post from her.
