Naw, the Party is only for the "Fat Cats". Bush isn't fat, plus he is just a puppet, and Cheney is kind of puny due to being in poor health, so no partying for him.

It took me nearly 20 years of voting for Dems to realize that they had been taken over by progressives and were nominating nothing but socialists for President every time. However, when I reached that state, like all puppies, my eyes came open and I have had them open ever since. Hey I was 40 the year my eyes came open.

Like to see the list of high profile Democrats who voted to invade a country that hadn't invaded us?

YES! I would.

There may have been a vote for authorizationj/funding but there was certainly NO vote that mandated invasion/occupation.

Just what part of COMMANDER in CHIEF causes you so much difficulty?

How long ya think it'll take you to realize the GOP's been taken over by corporate shills and self-righteous yahoos?

It doesn't matter who looses the house or who wins the house, both sides are as corrupt as a 3 dollar bill, and when Americans catch onto this, maybe things will change, until then...

and I'm no liberal by any means....

I'm very conservative, but this has happened back throughout history, and it's not working, period....

one takes over the other, then the other takes over, and does the same thing....then people get upset and vote the other team in....and it's all a game...

I cannot believe how utterly unintelligent the Americans are....

they are running this country into the ground, and those commercials...geeze louise?

I'm so sick of it...neither party has done this country any good....!

If anyone is interested in a somewhat different take on the same old game of congressional musical chairs they can read today's blog by Jim Kunstler, Jim like a lot of American's has seen the total transformation of both parties into a monolithic corporate political combine, Obama has done nothing to alleviate the policies and laws that govern the banksters and big corpa. Now we'll have the Repubs and the T-pots showing their own brand of servitude to the moneyed crowd through a mass of legislation that will pave the way for more economic destruction, and a host of other corporate friendly laws. Obama has done his part to repay his masters on Wall Street and now the Repubs are jumping at the starting gate to slurp up some reward$ for themselves, round and round we go.

We'll never have a true peoples government until we change the way we see the electoral shape up of the power class' frontmen dominating the candidate pool. The bickering on this board is proof enough of the fact that polarity of political thought occupies center stage in US politics. I can't believe that most people regardless of party affiliation can't sit down and agree that both parties have let us down, last nights 60 minutes segment dealing with the sorry state of our economy revealed a rare presence of reasonable thinking when Iowa voters were saying they thought the time had come to dump the incumbents in both parties, trouble is, we all know there isn't anyone left in politics with a heart or mind big enough to really listen to what Americans are saying. A far worse situation is the fact that most of us aren't hearing the truth about the core issues, instead we get God, guns, and abortion as the grist for debate, meanwhile folks are sinking into despair over the real life threatening issues that are ignored because no one can really put a fix onto this broken economic nightmare.....
