Yeah, I read the links too. You won't find any proof or indication of improper behaviour as the OP conclusively states. This is a typical thread in this forum, as in "just makin' stuff up, as usual."

It's wrong to keep tabs like that. How did they get the percentage of those that voted unless they had "an in" with the election folks ?

No.."at all costs" will cost this country dearly. You should never want your party in power so bad that you break rules and play dirty.

Here is the PDF of the emails;

Harrahs is keeping track of employees that have voted...and putting pressure on supervisor to get the ones that haven't voted to the polls.

Unbelievable. I guess your vote and IF you decide to exercise your RIGHT is NOT your own to make.
Nevada Casino Industry Bets Heavily on Reid - WSJ.com

The executives and the unions aren't telling the employees who to vote for, that we know of, but they and the employees all know that a vote for Sharron Angle is a vote against their own jobs.

I don't see what's unbelievable about this. It's an industry town, "so dominant here—accounting for 17% of employment and a third of state tax revenue—that Nevada is sometimes said to have just one political party: the Gaming Party. And while Democrats around the country are running into opposition from business groups, the gambling business is solidly behind Mr. Reid."

For you to say there is nothing wrong with this is simply fascist in spirit, given the power differential between the employer and employees.
Do you actually know what the point of the email was? I read that it was to accord the Union members transportation to vote - on their own time. Did you read something other than that?

Brother, can you people never stop using personal insults....now, someone disagrees with your interpretation (NOTE: interpretation, rather than taking the email to be exactly what was said) and they're fascist in spirit?

As was stated, votes take place in private. Maybe all of the people who voted, voted Republican. How do you know? Then it would be alright, I suppose.

Yeah, like the emails back and forth between the players aren't enough for you.

Didn't you read where Harrah's is keeping track of who votes and then trying to get the supervisors to pressure employees to go out and vote if they haven't?

It was in response to an email from Harry Reid about getting their people out to vote.
I guess they didn't do it properly because the supervisors wanted their folks on the job and working. Hence the follow up emails limiting the time to breaks and before/after their shifts.

Waking up on Nov 3 to no Harry Reid would devastate their industry..per the email from the Reid camp.

per reality.

Not only that but if Harry Reid were gone the casino business would go directly and immediately back to the mafia.

And they particular "help" with Housekeeping and B&F, because the "effort" is just not getting out.

The mid-level managers are simply NOT cooperating with management - by forcing their employees to get out and vote?

How about putting a "headlock" on the supervisors...FROM management.

How about getting the "Senator" to "help"?

And they'll do anything, ANYTHING to make it happen.

That is just plain wrong, that is bull crap. and should not be happening. It is everyone's given right, to vote or not to vote, and to vote for the person whom they think is right. Regardless of what any one else may feel.

Angle filed a complaint about this. We'll have to see where it goes.
