The Joyce Foundation was established in 1948 by Beatrice Joyce Kean of Chicago . Since its inception, the foundation has made grants of more than $600 million. Some of those grants include $1.1 million to Richard Sandor in 2000-2001 to create the Chicago Climate Exchange. Former Board of Directors' members include President Barack Obama (1994-2002) and Valerie Jarrett, his top adviser.

Who will benefit from the Chicago Climate Exchange? You guessed it...Obama and his buddies, the Chicago crew.
Chicago Climate Exchange is North America's only cap and trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide

Who will benefit from Obama's shutdown of drilling in the Gulf? You guessed it...Obama and his buddy, George Soros

Who is Obama getting to again? You guessed it...American Citizens.

Do you really think they will walk away from this kind of money

Chicago Climate Exchange
Exactly!! I tried to rep you but have to spread more around first.

Obama once again shows that he is willing to compromise. Will Republicans give him credit for it?
Why does your source not include all of that sentence Obama uttered? I am sure I know why but they did leave out the most important part of the quote.

He said that Cap and Trade wasn't the only of skinning the cat. It was only a means and not an end. Your source left out that part of the quote and that tells me that they are a bit further left leaning than anyone should be. Saying something is only a means tells me that just as good Communists believe whatever means gets the desired end is ok. He said the words and most left leaning sources I have seen have left out those important words from their quotes.

He's not compromising, he's retreating. He knows it has no chance of getting it through Congress. In terms of policy the Obama Administration is in disarray. It all started when he put to get a stimulus program that didn't focus enough on JOBS. Then he brought healthcare to the American people without explaining why he was doing it, how it could benefit the American people, and the financial impact and impact on the federal budget. Once the narrative for healthcare become the Conservative narrative i.e. Death Panels, It will bankrupt America etc. He lost political momentum. He's never gotten it back.

He can afford to drop it. The EPA can move forward without any bill. That was put in place around Copehagen timeframe when that whole global warming party fell apart.

The EPA can regulate us and squeeze us for all we got.

Probably call in Gore again to hire some scientists to fabricate tests.

He's not going to compromise. He's going to use the Endangerment Finding to push through cap-and-tax by decree from the EPA, since he can't get it through Congress. Funny that these days, the Progressives are finding it harder and harder to ram through their agenda down people's throats so they do it with backdoor loops through unelected bureaucracies and unelected federal judges. To hell with voting!

Obama is now a lame duck and a one term president. Giving up on bad ideas and trying to force bad ones through by chicanery is not compromise.
He is now irrelevant.
