We really do get it, we understand that Tuesday was rough and now you're upset but let's be honest about a few things...
We get it, you hate the Tea Party. You hate everything about the Tea Party, you call Tea Party members Teabaggers because you believe it degrades them. You hate anything that a Tea Party member might come up with before you even know what it is.
We get it, you know how to copy and paste smear articles. We know you love to read all of the typical liberal blogs and web sites, we know that when you see something on the Daily Kos or DU you rush here to post it. We know that you like to try to come up with the most offensive thread titles you can without breaking the TOS.
We get it, you hate that Republicans won on Tuesday and now you want to attack them. You're aware that the Democrats they replaced didn't fix anything but you now expect the new guys to fix everything in 48 hours even though they don't technically take office for a while.
We get it, you loved people like Alan Grayson and Russ Feingold with an unhealthy passion because they represent what you want to see in all politicians. They're the liberal answer to everything and you desperately want to see your current Democrats grow a spine and attack people like Grayson did because you feel that shows he's a good politician.
We get it, you still blame everything on Bush. You always come back to George Bush, when it's a slow news day you want to remind people that it's all Bush's fault. We get that any time something happens your first thought is to find a way to blame someone else for your problems.
We get it, you love entitlements, illegal aliens, labor unions and minorities while you hate common sense things like voters presenting IDs at the polls, personal and individual responsibility. We understand that without huge amounts of cash getting into the hands of your base voters you would never win another election so things like entitlements are important to you.
We get it, you pigeon hole every conservative/Republican within the first 10 seconds of a conversation but you hate it when people do the same thing to you.
We get it, you thrive on racism. We completely understand that racism is the sharpest tool in your belt and you have no problem whatsoever tossing it out there if you think there's even a slim chance that something will stick.
We really do get it, we understand that Tuesday was crushing and now you're licking your wounds trying to explain how it was great for your party and how you wanted to lose all along because it was your plan. We understand that you're as upset as we are about how little the Democrats accomplished in the last 2 years.
We get it... really we do... but elections have consequences and we won BIG on Tuesday so you're just going to have to deal with it and accept that things may indeed change in a way you might not like. I wonder if they "get" that they represent a fringe segment of the population? I wonder if they get that conservatives are the majority in this country?
Based on all the "cry for help" threads they have started, hoping to deflect from the horrible, devastating results of Tuesday's election, I do indeed believe they are in a world of hurt.
It could have been worse for them though - they did indeed get their voters out - or else we would have swept CO and WA and maybe even CA too. They should be thankful they still have control of the Senate......but all that will change in 2012.
We get it, we get that in your mind the only possible way that Tea Party and Republicans won is election fraud. According to you touch screen voting machines are the sole reason your people lost big on Tuesday since the voters couldn't possibly be smart enough to make choices for themselves.
We get it, we understand that you love weed. You want smoking weed to be legal and you came really close in CA to passing a law about it. We really do get it but in this economy people have a lot of other things to worry about.

You feel all warm and cozy when you convince yourself that we all hate gays, we all appose gay marriage, we all want to kill illegal aliens, we all spit on black people and secretly want to own slaves, we all love Jesus and feel that the US should be a theocracy, we all support Palin and we all want to move to CA.
We get it, we get that if Dems win 60+ seats in the house for a midterm election it's the biggest crushing victory in the history of the world but when Republicans do it it's still a Democrat victory because you kept the senate.
We get it, we all know that you love Obama no matter how many times he has screwed you over or how many of his promises you were counting on but never saw happen. We know you're a little upset about all the work you put into getting him elected and now you're wondering if it was all wasted. We really do get it, we're as upset about it as you are.
We get it, we get that when faced with facts your mind instantly goes into "well they do it too mode" then automatically switches to "Bush did it and we hated him for it but that must mean it's ok for us to do it now". We really do get how hard it must be to find yourself in this position.
Backspace, this is the best analysis of the left I have ever read. The truth of it has been shown to all of us by the C-D lefties daily. I'm sure you'll get some venom but they really are irrelevant now. They still haven't grasped what really happened on Tuesday and that they won't get anything back in two years. They actually will lose the senate and most likely the white house based on the redistricting that will take place in all the newly republican states. It's going to be tough for them to be in the wilderness for so long telling us how smart they are and how stupid we are. They will go batcrap insane now.
