Sure, give Israel 20 fighters at no cost while we get nothing in return and that's good.

Give something to an American?

SOCIALISM!

It's time we stop the $$$ flow to the cesspool we call the middle east. If they want weapons it should be cash up front.

It's sharing the wealth..I though that is what they left wanted.
Redistribution..is this not it ?

Don't worry..the cost of those "free" jets will go on the US Taxpayers tab.
We are the good global citizen sharing parts of our military with other countries.

Isn't that the reason why you Dems voted Obama into office ?

And just why is it there's no great outrage from the anti-redistribution NeoConfused?

Mt guess is it's just their normal hypocrisy, they're fine with redistribution of wealth when it suits their agvenda.

"The U.S. would provide 20 F-35 fighter jets free of charge. That's a $3 billion value. It would be in addition to 20 F-35s that Israel already planned to purchase"

If you actually read the column, it sounds like Obama struck a deal. Sounds rather business like for a person who supposedly knows nothing and is a socialist.

Then again, Obama could follow a conservative's script to a tee and you'd still poo poo him.

Hmmmmmm.

Haartez uses the term "sale" of those jets.

http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/israeli-officials-netanyahu-awaiting-written-offer-from-obama-on-settlement-freeze-1.325002

On the other hand, the Jerusalem Post, says Israel had originally committed to buying 40 of them, but their current financial position forced them to cut the order in half and the US has offered the remaining 20 for free. They're quoting Ehud Barak for that information.

http://www.jpost.com/International/Article.aspx?id=195487

Every news outlet I've seen also reports that the deal has not yet been finalized and no details have been released. Naturally, that hasn't stopped Fox from speculating based upon another anonymous source.

Like WND, they sure seem to have access to an awful lot of anonymous sources, don't they?

Israel is the second worst parasite on America's teat.

The first is the bunch of sociopathic delinquents in our military who whine like babies when their bloated budget is cut.

Take care of those problems, then come and talk about cutting education, unemployment, etc.
