I just saw it and felt really moved by it. There were moments when I wanted to cry and other moments when I felt nauseous. It's sickening to think of what the Bush/Cheney/Libby/Rove cabal did to our country, our reputation around the world, and to the Iraqi people.

Other opinions?

Saddam was a typical Republican who maintained law and order at any cost.

Cindy Crawford was pretty hot in that movie. She couldn't act worth a damn but at least she was easy on the eyes.

The war has killed a lot more Iraqis than Saddam could have ever dreamed of, and it's forced millions of Iraqis to flee their own country.

Not the new one. I watched a movie called that with Cindy Crawford and Billy Baldwin--but it's a completely different plot.

Luckily, I saw a review of this movie, and know that I have no interest in watching it.

Saddam killed close to 2 million of his own people during his reign (if not more), including jailing countless people for no reason, and his insane sons murdered thousands as well for stupid reasons.

According to many sources the total civilian body count is somewhere around 110,000 since 2003.

Well it is a movie after all and not actual fact. Movies that are supposed to be based on fact tend to suffer from creative embellishment.
Directors want their movies to sell at the box office. Actors want their movies to sell at the box office.
Add to the above they are telling a story as they see it. Not always = to truth or fact.

Fair Game? On a holiday weekend? I'll take Harry Potter being stalked by Voldemort over whiney-boy Sean Penn any day.

I'm seeing it today because a freind of mine wants to go. I'd rather see HP7 but I guess I'll wait until the crowds die down a bit.
