Now that we no longer have the color coded terror warning chart how am I to gauge how much I should panic at the possibility of being the victim of a terrorist attack? This is what used to keep my life interesting. Well, at least I can also worry about being chomped up by a great white shark since I live by the ocean, that being an even greater risk for me.
Sorry islamic knuckleheads, I'm not the least bit concerned.
That would be TSA expanded by its own enabling act.
Shouldn't everyone be PAID to be vigilant?
When the hell am I going to be paid to go shopping?
Where's my Nepolitano ice cream?
I doubt that the idea of searching Cushing would go over too well with the citizenry. The Walmart here USED to have all the lights and camera feeds in the parkinglot which covered the whole area. The local business didn't like it much nor the small amount of residental area. They were sued by those effected who didn't like the cops sitting in the Walmart parkinglot watching the camera.
Walmart lost. The manager of the store was also part of the lawsuit. They can survail all they want as long as it doesn't go a quarter inch beyond the parking lot. Whole setup went away.
Good luck on searching little towns... don't think they'd much like the results.
This situation could be made useful...
1. tell your family about this threat.
2. don't buy them any presents.
3. On Christmas morning when everyone comes downstairs to open the presents, tell them that during the night the terrorists stole the ones you bought.
4. in the next few days buy something nice for yourself with the money you saved.

Why are you so late with this? I already bought the presents, hmmmm maybe I'll take them back and use the terrorist gig, yeah thats the ticket
thanks
Be especially watchful in the mall with your kids. I just read a report from Fox news that them Alqidas have dyed their beards white and they're posing as Santa's throughout this country. Do not, under any circumstances let your child sit on the lap of an old dude in a red suit wearing a turban.
So, if AQ had planned a Christmas attack that would have really confused the CIA
that isnt hard to do these days.

OOOOO! I guess we'd better all stay home from Walmart, hunker down in our bunkers until AT LEAST Jan. 2nd and let the enemy define our lives for us and kill our holiday spirit....right?
That has nothing to do with what is being said. It makes sense for law enforcement agencies to be on alert of "suspicious" activity. The way people such as yourself always react to any "bulletin" or "heads-up" about potential terrorist attacks is unfair. No one means to tell people to "stay in their home" or anything like that.
It's almost SELFISH the way in which you all try to mock the news of potential attacks. Why don't you tell the families of people who WERE in the wrong place at the wrong time that it is too much that they government sends out warnings?
