Name one measure where things have gotten better. I can't think of anything. The economy has taken a giant $hit and is showing no signs of life. We are the brink of a Korean war. China is upset with our spending and so is the rest of the world. We are still in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Time for the Democrats to take some ownership here. How are we any better off now than 2008, let alone 2004?

How are we any better? You mean other than not being in the midst of a full blown Depression?

There is a lot of blame to share on how we got into the mess. But it is pretty clear who has been getting us out of that mess. Although many yet deny that truth, but hey, many think there are 150 million Muslim Terrorists out to get us too.

Sorry Charlie, unemployment under Bush...7.4% and rising. At the end of '09 Obama 10%. It's pretty clear which way the ship was headed under Bush, and while not completely ship shape under Obama, especially w/ his cave on the taxes, the number of jobs lost is FAR better than what Bush had.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Compares Job Losses Under Presidents Obama and Bush | TPM Document Collection

Bureau of Labor Statistics Data

In Dec. of '08 alone, Bush lost 719k jobs. SEVEN HUNDRED and NINETEEN...THOUSAND jobs. IN DECEMBER OF 2008.

How are better? Maybe you should stop watching FAUX News, you wouldn't be so mis-informed.

Settle down Francis. The economy had ALREADY taken a huge monster dump before 2008, and by all metrics while not booming is in a moderate recovery. News flash...WE'VE ALWAYS have been at the brink of a Korean war. China is upset w/ everyone, yet they continue to buy our debt, they continue to buy our products, they continue to rip-off our corporations, and continue to do so despite the mess they got themselves into w/ Bush.

Yep, we are still there. Bush et al, made such as **** box of the whole thing, it takes a while to clean up a spoiled toddlers temper tantrum. Just imagine all the lives lost, all the money and investments pissed away in Iraq. What a difference those young men and women could have done doing the right job and cutting off UBL from getting out of Afghanistan, and pressuring and killing him within 10 years and Al-Quiada. The man who funded and helped to coordinate the actual attack on us on 9/11.

Democrats have taken ownership, it's time for REpublicans to take ownership of their failures, in '03, '04 and '07. And God help us if they attempt to do exactly what they did then again. They came close enough to destroying this country the last time.
