All of you are just totally missing the point.

It is the government who decides who is and who isn't a terrorist.

The MEK was a terrorist group based in Iran that advocated the overthrow of the Iranian government (under the Shah) and whose actions resulted in death and injury to Americans (State Department officials, military members and US civilians working in Iran for whatever reason at the time).

The MEK remained on the State Department Terror List until just 6 years ago, when they were removed so the US could hire them to interrogate Iraqi prisoners.

The definition of terrorist/terrorist group was "Ten to twelve highly trained, well-educated, well-financed individuals who are willing to die for their cause."

That is the literal word-for-word definition. You can look it up in military manuals prior to 2001; it was the FBI's definition; it was the CIA's definition; and it you can read the hearings from Senator Frank Church's 1976 Select Committee on Intelligence because he quotes that definition.

The point is the definition of "terrorist" has changed over time, and it changes to whatever the government wants it to be.

If you allow the government to define terrorism, then ultimately, you end up being a terrorist.

This sums it up entirely.

By the way, our founding fathers at one time were considered patriots, but fema is now training policeman that they were terrorists.

We can't have anyone going against the government under constitutional ideas thinking its patriotic. "Now that were in charge, its terrorism."

If Timothy was a terrorist for doing so, then the US Military and government are terrorist when they bomb buildings government or not in some far away country.
But it was because Billie attacked a church in his war on Christians just because SOME Christians condemn sodomy.

Leaked FEMA Training Video - Domestic Terrorism Video

Nice job twisting.

To the British (as he said in the video) they were.
They were traitors to the crown.

I've always found it interesting to note that we call the war between north and south the *civil* war as if it was the first. It was not. The one in the 1770's was the first. We just call it the Revolution because we were the Revolutionaries. To the British it WAS a civil war.

I'm not sure our founding fathers were terrorist to them as much as traitors. If things had gone badly the British would have eliminated those who stood for revolution but that does not just by itself make them terrorists. There were terrorists on both sides in the countryside. Read real stories (not the pc approved stuff from school) and there were many instances of farms burned and individuals attacking others who disagreed with them. The vast majority were neutral until the violence forced them to a "side". Those who supported revolution out in the countryside did burn out their loyalist neighbors as did their loyalist neighbors burn them out. tit for tat. It was a far messier and meaner war than we see portrayed in history books.

There is and always has been an element who wants order to be maintained no matter that it is not working well or that it is harmful. These are the people who teach the tactics of order regardless of what its for and which side is which. Looks like the TSA is among them.

It's not that the man is saying the founding fathers were terrorists, but how as if you should be wary of even the most composed out there lest they have learned to think. Thinking and reasoning and logic are strictly for the ones who want to discover reality. The ones who prefer the comfortable lie are those who make it possible to hide it.

Attorney General Eric Holder's Blunt Warning on Terror Attacks - ABC News

"The threat has changed from simply worrying about foreigners coming here, to worrying about people in the United States, American citizens -- raised here, born here, and who for whatever reason, have decided that they are going to become radicalized and take up arms against the nation in which they were born," he said.
Well, c'mon!

We opened the door on our southern border with a big, "Come On In" sign - and the terrorists didn't come.

Looks like the Government is just going to have to go in-house to keep its war on terror going.
