Because blacks are the only ones in inner cities... get a clue already. About 25% of blacks are in poverty right now... 25%. That would suggest the existence of another 75% who are firmly working class - upper class. Or were you only speaking for the blacks at the rally you attended? Do you know any of them personally?
Maybe they were from rural redneck USA??
The fact is they were there.
It is nice to see everyone, regardless of their color, figure out what is going on with the truth. Truth will set you free.
Sandoval,Nevada's first Hispanic governor-Tea Party endorsed.
New Mexico elected Susana Martinez, nation's first Hispanic female Governor.
South Carolina elected Republican Nikki Haley
Florida chose Republican Governor Marco Rubio.
Tim Scott, South Carolina's first black Republican congressman.
Allen West the first black Republican elected to Congress from Florida since a former slave served two terms in the 1870s.
Two Latino Republicans from Texas, Congressmen Bill Flores and Francisco Canseco, will join Washington state's first Latino congressman, Jamie Herrera, also a Republican.
LOL....
And the Republicans will still have trouble getting 10% of the Black American vote in 2012. Every time the Republican Party tries to make strides in terms of attracting new people somebody like Haley Barbour reminds us what the Republican Party is REALLY all about.
Also killing the Dream Act is going to hurt Republicans in 2012.
It was started in Pulaski Tennessee by ex-Confederate officers. Yes, it's defnintely part of Southern history.
The Knights of the Golden Circle was founded by George Bickley in Cincinnati Ohio in 1854. The organization was to found a new Southern empire encompassing the Carribean and Latin America. The Knights had a relatively vicious way of dealing with those who opposed them. All of the KGC leadership were FREEMASONS of them the most famous was General Albert Pike CSA.
Pike was the highest ranking Freemason on earth in the 1800s next to probably the royal families. After the Civil War the KGC was reorganized as the Knights of the KuKlos Klan or Ku Klux. Kuklos is Greek for circle. General Pike who had escaped war crimes charges was the highest ranking member of the group. After the war of course he wrote the famous book Morals and Dogma and today is buried inside the Masonic Temple in Washington DC the only Confederate General buried in Washington DC.
There is a part in the fictional movie Mississippi Burning in which Gene Hackmans character finds a picture of the suspected Klansmen at a wedding. In the picture his character explaims "thats a Masonic hand sign it says K K K". Hollywood accidently let it slip in that KKK=Masonic Lodge.
There were also KKK supporters in the Union Army after the war as well remember Brother masons ALWAYS support one another blood in blood out. In the North most KKK members were Republicans!

One of my best friends great great great grandfather was a co-founder of the KKK. Anyway durring the civil war slavey was a key issue but it wasn't the biggest problem in my mind. States rights was the biggest issue in my mind, my Govt. teacher is a liberal and he will argue that states rights was the biggest issue. After the north thought that the south was getting too rich they decided to place extremely high tariffs. Cotton as we all know is the souths biggest export, and the north needed that cotton for their textile mills. The north practically used slavery in their textile mills, they worked children to death, literally. When the north wanted to take away the souths slavery, and have extremely high tariffs. That was the breaking point for the south. Ironically the north fired the first shots.
Maybe it was Dem guilt that made them do a complete 360.
Now they've gone to the other extreme and can't give enough welfare benefits to them.
Wouldn't that be a 180? 360 would get right back where you started from.
