The FBI had entered previously to seize Jared's computers. Right now, the family isn't letting the FBI in. Why does the FBI need entry again?

I don't have a good feeling about this, if it comes to gov troopers using violence against the family (who are probably armed...) They should use every chance to resolve this peacefully and not bust in

At this point in this thread prayers have been offered.......appropriately, and finger pointing has been enthusiastically offered....inappropriately. Deflection has been rampant on the usual topics of gun control and the tragedies of mental illness. Perhaps it is time to look forward to the next violent outburst which is imminent. I say imminent with both great sadness and anger.

While trying to say all the politically correct things to the press, our government leaders are rushing to avoid their own contribution to this tragedy. The hypocrisy, corruption, and self-serving decisions of our "ruling class" is, in effect, creating more "fringe" citizens who perceive no constructive way out of the hell that has become their lives.

Abject desperation and loss of hope is not unique to this shooter. Many people, especially those near the southern border are frustrated and passionate about the government's hypocrisy in avoiding all problems, including illegal immigration or even in protecting our citizens. The difference is "normal" people have not "snapped"....yet.

You can offer a diatribe using the specifics of your political party or ideology, but you cannot escape the reality that when people are pushed into a corner. losing their jobs, houses, family, savings, etc. AND they perceive no "normal" options, they will act irrationally. It may be convenient to label this as "mental illness", because it assuages our guilt that we might have some of the same feelings. However, it does not erase the reality that in the unrelenting hopelessness of some peoples lives, a few of the "normal' today will become the "fringe anarchists" of tomorrow.

In another thread on this forum, a friend of the shooter said Loughner attended a previous Giffords forum and was frustrated she was not able to answer his question: "What happens when the government's words have no meaning?" Rather than dismissing this as an insane musing, maybe we should try to view it objectively as an introspective and profound question.

Maybe if today's leaders make an HONEST effort to understand the abandonment perceived by the "fringe", instead of rushing to vote themselves more money for security guards, we stand a small chance of mitigating future violent explosions. I wish I were more optimistic.

Call SWAT to blow the roof off and repel in from a helicopter.

If the FBI has a warrant, they can enter.
A warrant will specifically identify what they can search for and/or seize.

If the first warrant didn't cover everything and they're building a case against this whack job, then they'll request additional items; if they learned something from the seized computer(s), they have a right to re-enter with a valid warrant.

Did Joe lie earlier, or did FOX suggest that info may not be good for gun advocates? I think we know. I wish I had a copy of the original interview, but suspect someone does.
I heard him on FOX...he said he ran towards them because he had the gun, so he took the safety off. After the magazine was taken from the shooter, he put the safety back on.

Reports I've read points at them being a little kooky too.
