Oh lord. That does look crazy, but I wouldn't call them equivalent to WND because their Alexa ranking is much lower. AlterNet's popularity is much closer to WND's numbers.
I somewhat agree is the Alternet comparison...some of the opinions I've read on that site are a stretch. But I'm not sure they straight up like like WDN... they have had too many debunkable stories to be considered credible.

Alternet is pretty much the furthest left that people actually follow, but no where near the extreme of WND. I can't say there really is a comparison on the left that's as off the wall insane like WND
MSNBC is roughly equivalent to Fox News, and Huffington Post could be compared to The Drudge Report, but what is the liberal version of World Net Daily? Is there such a thing?
Not sure there is an equivalent. The US hasn't had any sizable far left wing, well, ever (maybe in the 1910s and 20s one could argue).
It has a sizeable far left-wing around the turn of the twentieth century, during World War I, in the Depression of the 1930s, and most recently the New Left of the 1960s.
