I really hate that gays and lesbians get grouped up with these people. It's NOT the same at ALL. Hate this GLBT nonsense. The G, the L, and even the B stand for sexual preference. The T is about feeling and becoming the opposite sex.

But, to answer the topic.. if they go through procedures and have a sex change and are legally/officially that gender, then yes.
So is a woman who likes another woman, has a butch cut, & who smashes her breasts flat on her chest considered a lesbian or a tranny?
Are men who wear women's panties considered transgendered just because that is their particular festish?
Are guys who get their eyebrows waxed gay?

It's a stigma that comes with the gay community and it's an awful one. If you see a REALLY effeminate man.. well, sadly that probably can mean that he's gay. That mean's he likes other men. This does not mean he wishes to be a woman. I understand this is hard to take in.. but I assure you, it's not.
The problem our community faces, are the ridiculous people who do this for attention and soils any progress gays make.

I am pretty confident you are familiar with Chris Crocker. Now if you are TRULY confused on the issue with "whats the difference with gays & trannies" he is the reason why you and other people are confused with gay people.
He is gay. He is not a transsexual. I know, I know.. you've probably seen a video or a picture of him and he's walking around in a corset and high heels or something extremely female. He is the kind of poison our community faces. He is just.. ridiculous and ~needs~ attention.
TRUE transsexuals, are people who struggle and slowly evolve themselves into the other gender. If you saw one.. it'll usually be pretty obvious. They aren't trying to "be hot" and they won't be as "loud" appearing as someone like Chris Crocker.
