You don't have to take anyone's word for it, if you don't like living in fear of legal and responsible gun owners you should move somewhere where people aren't allowed to own guns.

What you have a problem with means nothing to anyone but you and the law isn't on your side in this case.

not eliminating the threat, but stopping the threat.

So your point is, you would rather have a criminal that is not a CCW law abiding citizen have a pistol...rather a CCW permit holder who has jumped throught the hoops to get his CCW....and be a law abiding citizen, following the law....

Now who live's in fear....
Hoplophobia affects a lot of people who would rather just be the victim of a crime instead of standing up to their attacker.

I stand corrected. All concealed carry permit owners should remember those words well in addition to "I was in fear for my life".

and if asked you are also cold, and that you would like to talk to an attorney before making a statement to a cop.

So, I should take a beating, or be killed, to protect you? Sorry, I don't understand your 'logic'.

I know dozens of people who own guns, none of them have shot anyone. Most of them have been in a car accident, and Ted Kennedy has killed someone with one. Should we outlaw cars?

BTW, Florida Bob, I have a carry license in my/your home state. I had to take a course, pass a test, and pass a background check (with fingerprints), to get my license. Can you?

Tens of thousands are murdered in abortion clinics every year.
