I have no way of knowing if you are a responsible gun handler and know how to use it, or when. Forgive me if I don't just take your word for it. In your home, I have no problem with it. By the way, I don't consider a car your home, either.
You don't have to take anyone's word for it, if you don't like living in fear of legal and responsible gun owners you should move somewhere where people aren't allowed to own guns.
What you have a problem with means nothing to anyone but you and the law isn't on your side in this case.
Not really, you only unleash a weapon like a firearm if you intend to eliminate a deadly threat. If the person causing that thread happens to die then so be it but you're not trying to kill anyone, you're simply eliminating a threat.

So your point is, you would rather have a criminal that is not a CCW law abiding citizen have a pistol...rather a CCW permit holder who has jumped throught the hoops to get his CCW....and be a law abiding citizen, following the law....

There are a number of reasons people carry, some are legitimate. However, being physically weak shouldn't be one, all that would do is provide a weapon to an attacker.
