Good idea, but the powers that be won't want their slush fund taken away.

Well, at least the remainder of the Failed Stimulus might be put to good use.

YES. That is money on the shelf that we know will disappear like the other one did and nothing to show for it.

Intersting, a good idea. However, I become more dissastified as I see peope responding simply based on politics. The weasel Democrat complained that it would kill jobs by paying down the debt. What is up with that? These people are idiots, and simply don't understand anything about economics and fiscal policy.

Well, I don't think our leaders have the ability to make decisions based on fiscal policy, but operate from a political venue - what can you do for me, how does it impact my reeelection, what can iget for my district in pork...etc....wish it weren't so...at this point, time for leadership...

Or they could revoke the tax cuts that they just fought so hard to maintain and that would settle most of it right there over the next 5 1/4 years.

Instead Republican's fought to add over $4 TRILLION dollars to the debt. But now want to defund the balance of the stimulus that's left.

Stupid is as stupid does. Another great hit job by Republican's.

Yeah letting people keep their own money is a bad idea. The federal government is so much better at spending it.

Good for them.

We finally have people who won't allow the waste to continue.

The stimulus has not worked and the money they have spent has been wasted away.

The tax payers, ( at least those of us who actually pay ) have had our money stolen and the money used against us to control our lives.

We elected the reps to do exactly this. Stop the Obama admin from spending us into bankruptcy and piling up our debt at record numbers.

Good job Rep's!
