Right...just keep believing...
The 25k figure is not just union members. They had children there, there were college students there, family and friends.... Union membership fell by 600,000 last year.

They should be. It's illegal here for teachers to strike. I hope they get fired but I'm sure the union won't let that happen.

Do you even realize what's going on? If they don't come back today to do their JOBS, Walker is going to have no choice but to send law enforcement to bring them back. That's kinda how it works.

Organize for America was behind this. That is an ultra-progressive organization funded by Soros.

this was NOT some spontanious grass roots thing.

the DNC was involved and there are now rublings that the whitehouse is involved.

The Repubs have the majority in the state houses. We have a Republican governor now. We had a Republican senator overthrow King Feingold. The people have spoken.

"Forbes magazine has completed a comprehensive look at "The Global Debt Bomb" and in the course of compiling the results found this very interesting tidbit:
"The five states in the worst financial condition--Illinois, New York, Connecticut, California and New Jersey--are all among the bluest of blue states. The five most fiscally fit states are more of a mix. Three--Utah, Nebraska and Texas--boast Republican majorities and two--New Hampshire and Virginia--skew Democratic"

Since the article that that opinion was based on was about underfunded and unfunded pensions, many of the states took the money from the funds and used them elsewhere. Bad management is just that, bad management. They expected more money coming in, but as companies & industries failed or fled, they didn't adjust, nor did the attempt or plan any long term changes, just quick fixes, that put them in the position they are in today. It wasn't one thing or another, it was a lot of different thing, not all caused by one group or another.

As far as i know, all those other states have both teacher and government employee unions. Maybe they (the state) were a little more open with them.

These legislators are spineless cowards. They were not elected to run and hide under their mothers' skirts. They should be immediatel relieved of their duties.
