Since 1968 the majority of whites vote Republican for President. It got close in 2008, Obama was very competitive. I predict the GOP will win whites by a larger margin in 2012. But keep in mind that whites are a shrinking majority and will have less influence with each future election..
As a white American I don't vote for a president or official by race. I vote by ability, issues, personality, track record, and political associations. I also like an articulate, personable, and witty leader. I look at what state they come from and what issues were or are more prudent in that state. I even look at the car they drive and tie they wear but not race.
President Obama lacks to many positives and has to many negatives for me to earn my vote.
Plenty of whites will vote for Obama, and I will be one of them.
Me, too. What one's race has to do with it, I'll never know. I voted for him the first time because I liked his experience and his platform. Those things haven't changed, even though I haven't agreed with everything he's done (or not done). But I never expected to be 100% in sync with him in the first place. Anyone who did was deluding themselves.

talk about a Sheeple.
This woman is saying she will vote for him not matter what. Even if he reauthorizes the Patriot act. Even if he keeps bailing out corporations and raising taxes on low income people. Even if he sends the military on peaceful protesters. Even if he declares himself dictator but holds a mock election for his pride.
Good thing we know there are people who don't think before they vote.
