A lengthy, but extremely worthwhile read that describes the unbelievable control the unions have, the near impossibility of ridding our schools of bad teachers and the incredible waste of taxpayer funds involved in this long, arduous process where one "i" left undotted can result in an incompetent teacher who has collected full salary for years while doing nothing in a "rubber room" being bounced back into the classroom.
