The tone in this thread is pretty vile. I have all the sympathy in the world for this young girl. I'm glad to see her parents are taking action to protect her.
People here seem to be focusing only on the boys that acted in the rape, for me I hold culpable the person that did the video and anyone that watched and didn't participate. No action taken is not an option.
Now for all those that distribute the video they are liable for kiddie porn... This girl was underage and this will qualify.... it falls in line with the sexting and is even more vile when it is of an unwilling participant. The list of those offending needs to grow greatly and send a shockwave through this community.
BTW the race has no matter in this offense... of the victim or the offenders. It is an act that is despicable not physical characteristics. For me I have as little sympathy on the witnesses and those that are sharing this act. charge them all the same. This is about doing the right thing.
Sad, the human animal is capable of terrible things. I hope the little girl will be ok, eventually.
She'll never be okay.
She will probably be unable to trust.
She will probably be unable to have a healthy relationship.
Everyone that she knows now looks at her differently.
She will feel ashamed and question herself.
Yeah, did it have anything to do with what she was wearing?
Last week's rape thread discussed women's fault in a rape.

You know, white boys do it too.
Ever work in a rape crisis group?
The fact that race or "south of the border" garbage was brought up is irrelevant.
My post was referring to the individual who felt that the 17 to 19 year olds should get clinical help, and not be incarcerated, but that the 21 year olds should be castrated and killed.
The difference in the brain between 17 and 21 isn't as much as he was thinking.
No, I actually think that any person over the age of 16 should undergo psychological evaluation to determine if they should be tried as an adult or not. But thats the subject for a different thread.

All those who took part in this vile act KNEW what they were doing and should be sent to Prison for life at the very minimum. Whoever is crazy/Naive enough to believe that they can be rehabbed should invite them to live with him/her at their homes.
Time to put your money where your mouth is and step up and provide for this cancer on Society, I'll put up the cash/bullets to finish off these dirtbags, no funeral expenses let their wortless bodies rot at the dump.
The ONLY person that needs any sympathy is the poor little girl taht was the victim of these animals.
Unfortunately Liberals believe that the criminals are the victims.
Its called groupthink, you should really research it a little. Your understanding of the issue is the reason why we don't have mob rule, and we have trial by jury.
And then to throw in the "liberals" label is just stupid.
That's not what I'm saying. I just don't personally think they should recieve as stiff a penalty as grown men. The two oldest suspects were 25 and 27, I believe. A teenage boy shouldn't receive the same punishment as a man in his late twenties, in my opinion.
For this type of crime I'm going to have to disagree with you. It's heinous and disgusting. In Texas these guys are going to probably receive the harshest penalties the district attorney has it his or her disposal.
Most of the suspects are 17-19. I would hardly call them men. Just dumb kids that will pay dearly for their actions. For the suspects over 21, I think castration is a fit punishment.
When you're 17, you know right from wrong. They want to act like big tough men? Fine. They should ALL be treated as such. Personally, I think castration via the guillotine is appropriate if they are clearly guilty for doing this.
Well, in the multicultural hell that is the present state of the us we have plenty of cultures/sub-cultures that produce lots of individuals such as these men, obviously.
There isn't a culture in the world where gang raping hasn't occurred. The bottom line is that some people do bad things regardless of culture.
How does any man, much less a group of them, even contemplate such a vile act? They even recorded it on their cell phones and passed it around.
Needless to say their families are complaining about the arrests.
Un'f'ing-believable.
"The number of suspects charged in the sexual assault of an 11-year-old Cleveland Middle School girl — which was recorded on cell phone videos and circulated around the school district — grew Wednesday to 13.
"But it's not over yet. More arrests are expected," said Cleveland Police Capt. Darrel Broussard, who declined further comment.
Four men were arrested and charged last week. On Wednesday, nine more suspects were charged......
These adult males gang raped a child. They were obviously proud and entertained by what they did because they recorded it for posterity.
Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for us, they did their deed in a state that is not at all considered Progressive.
They need to flushed from society.
Not favored with wise and academic pontifications of psycholgical gobbledygook.
