Moderate Republican State Senator Dale Shultz announced on Sunday night that he won't support Scott Walker's bill. Two more moderates are needed to come forward to kill the bill in the Senate. I know some of the liberals and far right conservatives on here don't want to hear this, but in states with republican controlled statehouses, this fight WILL be determined by the moderate republicans remaining in office in this country. Collective Bargaining is one of the few issues the R's could have picked that will unite both moderate R's and Democrats--I don't think they realize the can of worms they've unleashed.

Good, and I for one have no problem with Moderates stepping up to the plate and saying No.

Wrong..again.

The can of worms is the American taxpayer realizing just how much they have been screwed by the unions.

Mr Shultz is a hero and making the best political move of his life. The tea party is crashing and burning. Any smart republican would distance themselves as far away from the tea party as they can.

I am waiting for the American Public to realize how far they have been screwed over by the Privileged Class that own the Republicans, control the Tea Party and rent the Democrats.

Politicians manuvering against the public to save their hides for re-election is heroic?

Keep on believing that. I think the best example to date was the US House vote where they tried to defund the NLRB, and the 60 moderates left united with the D's to kill it. It's only a quarter of the party, but we're still there. This new batch of R's make the party nearly unrecognizable at this point--the real misnomer is calling us RINOS, because the new far right is the element that might be radically conservative, but certainly isn't republican. Time to take the party back--you've gone too far this time.

Pretty obvious indeed. It appears many people are too stupid to realize it. The politicians career is what matters most.

The majority of americans are on the pro-workers rights side. He is doing what the public supports like he should.
