Hypocrisy is the right's middle name. Its ok for tea partiers to carry but not union liberals.
Also crying out of $350k for cleanup. i wonder how much our government or local governments paid out during becks religious rally or other tea party events? And if you say nothing then you are truly living a lie.
While I believe they should not carry guns to the protests, I will also remind some here that when people mentioned that Tea Party memebers showed up at tall hall meetings with guns they said there was nothing wrong with that and that those doing so were just expressing their right to bear arms. So for those with their fake outrage because the Other guys did it also, be aware that your Hypocracy will be showing.

There is a HUGE difference in carrying a weapon to an OUTSIDE rally that you are allowed to carry, in that state.....and carrying a weapons or other illegal things in building that you know you are not allowed to do.....

Lying is well documented as the lefts middle name
At our Capitol, you check your weapon in at the door with the State troopers, before going through the metal detector. Our Governor carries at all times, even in the Capitol, which is in his power as the head of the State and State Law Enforcement.
All Tea Party and Beck rallies were self policed. All litter was removed after the rallies and the Mall was spotless at no additional cost to the tax payers of DC.
Do a google or bing
Trash left at beck rally
then...
Trash left after ed schultz rally

Really, I see little difference at all, just as many people could die in either case, sorry your argument does not pass the test of logic. Keep your "but it is different because one is against the rules" argument there is no reason that if a person can be trusted to carry a weapon into a mall with thousands of people then they should be trusted to carry one into a Statehouse with far fewer people and more armed police officers. Maybe I just not believe a citizens life to be worth less than a politicians or other government employee. If a person can be trusted they can be trusted at all times, if they cannot be trusted by factual evidence to back it up their right to bear arms should be removed, as with any Felon. It is an either or thing, either we trust those that we allow to carry or we do not in ALL situations.

Despite the NeoConfused BS there's no shortage of low-lifes on either side of the aisle
We tried to get rid of most of them in the primaries before Nov.2nd, 2010 some slipped through and got re-elected, but look at the rookies that won seats all over in national, State and local elections. Historical and the people spoke loud.
That is the reason it was as historical as it was.

The self-Righteous delusion, they stab it with their steely knives and they still can't kill the beast.
When has the Democratic Party ever made a big deal of 'family values'?
Great quote...
