This thread had more Nazi strawmen than a haunted hay ride in 30's Germany.

But, I always appreciate the irony of using strawmen based on a race that is most hated by the race in question.

Nope, wrong again, Captain Obtuse.

Let me explain. The German Govt. once said Jews didn't belong in Germany, began deporting them, figured it wasn't fast enough, then started killing them.

Fast forward to 2011, Germany says Muslims don't belong in Germany...

get it?

Probably not, but then I can always hold out hope.

The only strawman here is the one in your mind.

I don't know, I haven't asked. But, there are plenty of radical Christians in the good old US of A who deny it plenty.

Islam is a form of government and it's only smart for democracies to keep their democracies.

Why is it that those who despise Christianity the most, who foam at the mouth over any Christian influence in our government most crave the Islamic theocracy taking over?

Is it just that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" attitude?

That is true, but it is pretty disingenuous to compare to an extremely small fraction of Christian (and non-Christians) to a very large portion of Islam that does believe this. This is a very prevalent view even in moderate Islam circles. And yes, I do know because I've lived in the Middle East (Kuwait & Turkey) and my friends who held this view were very well educated. This isn't a view just held by a small portion of that faith-group.

When you are as 'open minded' as most on the left are, your brains have fallen out.....

Hence their 'reasoning' regarding Islam.

Funny thing is,under Islamic law all the other aspects they hold dear(homosexual rights, womens rights, etc) would not be tolerated.

Useful idiots describes them perfectly.

Really? Why exactly would you deduce anyone here is anti-Christian? Because they do not agree with your P.O.V.?
