That's usually how it goes. However, I would say that I feel it's a bit irresponsible to not have records of the guns that you own. If someone stole 25% of your guns would you even know it? Aalso, here in Mass. we have strict storage laws that prohibit us from leaving guns around the house and etc. so it's very unlikely that gun owners up here don't know their inventories....

It is what has kept a war from our shores for so long.
And I thought it was because Japanese didn't have the means to strike the US mainland in any meaningful manner?

Thanks Bentbow.

Now I know it was pot-bellied, middle aged, gun nuts that kept them from doing that, striking fear in their hearts with their pistolas.....LOL

I of course know what I have and it's not that huge of a number, just 13.. The law here is a little better and my youngest is 22. It's only the wife and I in the house, so we can and do have them sitting out in the open where they are most effective and there is of course a round in every chamber and those with safeties are always showing red..

and stereotyping is so not the way to gain any credibility. That one was obviously directed at someone else.

Nothing wrong with owning guns legally, for protection, hunting, target practic etc. If your a responsbile gun owner. Does the U.S. have more crime then other places to live! So much crime going on these days it isn't funny, and not targeted to just one State, thruout the many different States, it is getting sickening.

Question for gun lovers....were you picked on as kids?

So let's get this straight:

You are taking jabs at people who enjoy a hobby that you also engage in yourself.

That's certainly "sensible"

No it's far beyond a hobby for you, and not one for me at all.

As I said, I think about a gun like a do a tool in the garage.

You get a sense of self worth from ownership of your guns. You're more of a man.

LOL. Classic! That's about the funniest thing I've read at CD in Months. It doesn't surprise me in the least.
