Were the results of the paternity test conclusive??
That show can be more depressing than what I see going on in Japan. The folks on Maury bring their misfortune on themselves (mostly), the poor Japanese did not deserve this.
I care...my son is stationed there as well as many other Branches of the Military.
It's sarcasm genius!
The point is we Americans better get our fat arses off the couch and start preparing for the big one. It's coming. And we are unprepared, extremely unprepared for a disaster like this. Katrina will look like a cakewalk compared to a 9.0 hitting CA or the new madrid or worse yellowstone erupting. Hope your son stays safe!
Really though, I think it is a worthwhile thing for our army to do and will probably have a more positive effect on the world than what they are doing in Afghanistan.
Agreed. I don't generally support foreign aid but when it comes to huge natural disasters like this, I would hope the US would step in and do what it can to help out, short of directly giving money. If individuals want to give money, fine, but our gov't should not.

Theres been a lot of speculation that the New Madrid fault may be dead, will see if I can find the link, the story was in the STL paper not long ago.
I also read an article in my hometown paper that there was minimal damage to the 18th century buildings there during the 1811-12 quakes, so a study reported. http://srl.geoscienceworld.org/cgi/c...xtract/75/1/22
