Jury costs in upcoming Casey Anthony trial estimated at $361,000 - CNN.com

The 20 jurors to be selected in the Orlando, Florida, murder trial of Casey Anthony will cost the court system an estimated $361,000, according to court administrators.

Caylee Anthony homicide - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Caylee Anthony was first reported missing to authorities on July 15, 2008. Caylee's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, reportedly called 9-1-1 when her daughter Casey Anthony, Caylee's mother, would not tell her where Caylee had been. Cindy had not seen her granddaughter for weeks and became very alarmed when she admitted that she smelled the odor of a "dead body" in the trunk of Casey's car. Cindy later denied what she said and revised her account, stating that the smell was from old, stale pizza. Police later determined, through forensic testing, that there had indeed been the presence of a decomposing body in the trunk of that car.[3][4

It is nothing that wasn't already printed in the newspapers as the seach for the little girl was going on x 1 yr. Are you also going to suggest that every newspaper destroyed the right to a fair trial? Every TV news report too?

The paragraph you quoted is just reworded version of the one they are citing:

Timeline of trouble
Caylee Anthony was last seen in mid-June and was reported missing to authorities on July 15.
Cindy Anthony had called 911 and said she had not seen her granddaughter in several days and that her daughter Casey’s car trunk smelled like a dead body.
She would later rescind the comment, claiming the smell to be from an old pizza and other trash in the trunk of the automobile

Trying even an obvious criminal is necessary to protect what little legitimacy is left in our legal system. Everyone has a Right to a fair trial by his peers. Check the Magna Carta as well as our Constitution

Is there a point? are you suggesting we curtail rights to save money? if so... lets start with yours and see if you still want to go forward.

I'm surprised it costs that much money to try one person.

I see it's point-less for you.

Anybody can edit Wikipedia to say whatever they want. But in the case of what you quoted, it has numerous citations to "real" sources.
