So do the various leftist posters here support the current unprovoked attacks upon a sovereign nation?

Did you oppose American action against Nazi Germany, Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, Somalia, Rawanda, Balkins?

Iraqs invasion of Kuwait was done with a nod and a wink of some defacto neo-cons. They had cause. Kuwait had long since hit peak oil and was slant drilling into Iraqi Oil fields. The "So Called" Humanitarian violations by the Iraqis were the product of an "AMERICAN THINK TANK AND PUBLIC RELATIONS FIRM"

Iraq and Iran had been fighting one another for years and had not had their oil consistently on the worrld market. OPEC (the puppet masters of the war) did not want Iraq nor Irans oil to come fully to the world market and lower oil prices with the influx of supply in relation to demand.

Just a lil research will confirm all I have just wrote you. Try some books and not wikipedia though!

And why are we defending the opposition? Who are we to pick winners in Libya? Who said that the opposition is better than Ghaddafi?

You don't like it for a good reason....it's dumb.

The "opposition" is Ghadafi's own citizens of his own country. He's firing on his own citizens.

What fledgling democracy in Libya? There is some well known democracy movement in Libya and someone failed to tell me about it? Who is the leader of that movement?

And providing assistance to the rebels will do NOTHING towards sending a strong message to other despots. It never has before, and it won't now. What...you think the leaders of the Burmese junta will all of a sudden resign just because we're trying to help overthrow Ghadaffi?

Yea, right.
