Guess Serbian civilians being collateralised is okay.

Same as in Libya now,if we have to break a few Libyans in order to protect the oil for France,so be it.
Without a COMMUNIST! boogeyman to shoot at we seem to have a difficult time deciding what's a 'just' war and what isn't.

So....the USA pushed for a BROAD no fly zone resolution that would include being able to bomb just about anything that 'might' be a threat to civilians.

The USA is leading the 'coalition of nations who want to protect their oil supplies'....

The USA is doing the bulk of the bombing.

But the USA is not in charge and not responsible for it....

It was my mistake, not one I will make again.
I can discuss things with someone willing to admit a mistake.

How long did it take you to realize your previous mistake? I hope it was more than a week?

When will the coalition bomb the rebels I wonder????
Quote:
Buoyed by U.S. and allied airstrikes that relieved a siege of Benghazi, Libyan rebels launched an offensive early Monday aimed at retaking the strategic city of Ajdabiya, as Western warplanes continued pounding forces loyal to longtime leader Moammar Gaddafi.

U.S. jets strike Gaddafi’s forces; coalition continues hitting Libyan air defenses - The Washington Post

Remember the UN resolution?
One of the key points:
Authorises all necessary means to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas, except for a "foreign occupation force".

Don't assume that what you can see is all there is, and everybody else must be limited to that.

But, to ask the question I did earlier... how long did it take for you to realize your mistake? More than a week, surely?

Are you saying you might change your mind and not vote for Obama?
That it might just take some time?

As to your question,I was ambivalent from the get go.
There didn't seem to be any pressing reason for attacking then.
But once we wnet,we should have got it over with and pulled out as soon as the war with the Iraqi government was over.

Take some time to do what? At this point, Obama is the one getting my vote.
