Hardly. Romney vetoed 8 sections of our current healthcare law only to be overridden by the moonbat controlled legislature. That's a fact that's not discussed very often.

There's no need for that. The courts will take care of it. Obama is already committing an impeachable offense by ignoring the current court orders to halt the implementation of Barry Care. However, we can't impeach him for violating the law because that might be racist....

I already have filed a lawsuit against Obamacare to have it repealed. What else would you like me to do?

We're not a nation of majority rules. You do know that, right? This nation was founded on protection of the minority..

CNN Poll: Time doesn’t change views on health care law – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Where are the health care all-stars? - POLITICO.com Print View

Calls to the players/bigwings go unanswered.

The Kaiser poll mentioned, 46% disapprove of the law.

I think its safe to say that obamacare grows even more unpopular as more and more learn all the nasty details, all the lies, all the budgetary tricks and gimmicks.

And the kicker - ruled unconstitutional. I would imagine voters will be very unforgiving to lawmakers who pushed this monstrosity through on a party line vote.

And don't think for even a nanosecond that obamacare won't be front and center for 2012.
If Obamacare is so popular, why do so many groups get an exclusion so they don't have to follow parts of it...

Big difference between a state HC plan and one for the entire country.

Is that how you think a given poll works? No, on the Kaiser poll, 46% disapprove, 42% approve. Just because 46% disapprove, doesn't mean the difference from 100% approve.

They are getting waivers, because otherwise these groups would have to stop offering HC plans that don't meet obama's minimum standard benefit, they would have to dump all the employees currently on such plans OR raise premiums an astronomical amount that people can't afford.

The CNN Poll in OP needs a bit more clarity than the OPer would care about (considering it would defeat the purpose of the thread).

While 37% support it (as is), 13% (recorded under "oppose it", and I would fit in this category if included in the survey) feel it doesn't go far enough. In other words, 50% of America either support it as is or feel it needs to go farther.

This has been discussed ad nauseum on this forum and other places. By having a stay imposed on the latest ruling, the healthcare reform law is still the law of the land. So he is 100% in the right in continuing to enforce it.

My gut says that the Supreme Court will strike down the mandate clause. What happens to the rest of it, I don't know. That depends if the Supreme Court views that as the foundation or a separate part alone.

50% favor or want it expanded and 46% disapprove of it, and some think that means it is unpopular? Makes one understand why some people think Repubs tell the truth, they don't know what truth is.

....and the amount of "exempt" entities that don't have to participate will be past, what, 5,000? 6,000???

Funny how the supporters seemingly miss this glaring "NO CONFIDENCE" vote on Obamacare.

Silly me - I forget having critical thinking skills makes me an enemy of the state!
