"Red State America" doesn't mean that America is a Red State. It's referring to the Red states within America, not all of the states within America.

By the way, Czechoslovakia isn't a country anymore, but the Czech Republic is one of the most liberal European countries in terms of LGBTQ rights. The Czech Republic has laws protecting gays, allows them to serve in the military, and has legally recognized same-sex partnerships since 2006. While Slovakia is admittedly more conservative when it comes to LGBTQ rights, it still allows gays to serve in the military and has laws protecting gays as well.

actually the czech republic is one of the most liberal nations in the world. there is FULL equality for gay people there and there has been for years. they're WAY ahead of 'america' when it comes to civil rights
