Frankly, if I was the Judge, I'd order the ex-husband to pay for the trips and/or to re-locate to the area where Mom lives.
He's a scumbag with no sense of empathy for sure. If he'd been allowing a visits since birth then there is no way that seeing her could have traumatized the kids as he claims it would. It's an issue of his own making and there are child psychiatrists who could help undo any harm he's caused by keeping them from her. If he'd been allowed to continue to withhold those kids from seeing their mom someday when they're older they would have resented him for that.
No idea. Maybe he left her and her parents in SC took care of her

my sarcastic way of saying this guy is so vile that he didn't even stand by his wife, the mother of his children. there are many husbands and wives for that matter, the situation very similar and their families are in tact.
