He should have stood by his wife. That's what "In sickness and in health" means.

He was given a trial to endure and he failed miserably.

He and the kids live in LA, she lives in South Carolina, so the distance might indeed be a problem that could make it difficult to meet once a month as suggested.

If he doesn't even want their kids to visit her, I can't imagine he would want to live with her or even near her.

And that is where the new invention called the airplane comes into play - a couple of hours - boom - they are there.

Frankly, if I was the Judge, I'd order the ex-husband to pay for the trips and/or to re-locate to the area where Mom lives.

He's a scumbag with no sense of empathy for sure. If he'd been allowing a visits since birth then there is no way that seeing her could have traumatized the kids as he claims it would. It's an issue of his own making and there are child psychiatrists who could help undo any harm he's caused by keeping them from her. If he'd been allowed to continue to withhold those kids from seeing their mom someday when they're older they would have resented him for that.

my sarcastic way of saying this guy is so vile that he didn't even stand by his wife, the mother of his children. there are many husbands and wives for that matter, the situation very similar and their families are in tact.

again, this man is misguided at best.
