The answer is they have been busy doing pointless things such as repealing Healthcare reform, something they knew was nothing more than showboating for their fans and cutting those things THEY or their masters Big Business and the Rich want cut, while at the same time continuing to spend money on wasteful things they themselves like. In other words all their actions show they are perusing their political agenda as usual. The GOP now whines they need all branches of government under their thumb to get their agenda (opps, I mean our agenda) fulfilled. As for JOBS the GOVERNMENT DOES NOT CREAT JOBS, even though the right-winger socialists cry on and on about JOBS they knew all along that the GOVERNMENT has very limited ability to create jobs, in other words they are liars and now that they are have the House they want to ignore the issue except when attempting to attack the President. After three months the GOP has shown they are nothing more than the same old Pawns of the Rich and Big Business and by the time 2012 rolls around anyone with half a brain will know what the GOP wants for America and it not a good thing. The GOP is losing the support of Moderates/Independents and without them they do not stand a chance of winning the Senate or the Whitehouse, especially when one looks at the potential candidates made up of past rejects and retreads.

It makes no difference what letter is next to the persons name, both the R's and the D's are to blame. Put it this way, We the People are the suspect and the R's play the part of the Good cop while the evil D's naturally are the Bad cop. Both cops work for the same Dept., same boss and both get a paycheck from the same employer. The labels R and D and liberal and Conservative are but a diversion to get US arguing and fighting and divided while the criminals in D.C, continue their racket. Quit buying the lies/con job, wake up and then scream your mad as heck and your not going to take it anymore! Get your tar. feathers and pitchfork ready...................

I went through this entire thread and I still do not find any new policies that the GOP House had proposed that will benefit America.

They haven't even come close to cutting the budget to the amount they pledged during their campaign!

He also projected
And as for jobs, he now expects to see a substantial reduction in the unemployment rate over the next two years. "By the end of next year," he says, "we’ll be south of 9 percent, and probably approaching 8.5 percent. And then by the end of 2012, we’ll be below 8 percent and closing in on 7.5 percent." Those numbers are far from what we'd consider normal, but they're a legitimate improvement over the current situation. Here's hoping.
Which just proves economists are no different than anyone else. You can find 100 economist that say one thing and I can find 100 that say the opposite.

Because an economist says something, does not make it true.

This Congress forced Your President to be a Born Again Moderate. And he will swing his sack even further to the right as the election nears to try to capture all those fleeing Independents. That should be enough to make his base go apeschit, which is plenty of an accomplishment for this Congress in and of itself.
